Dominican Wendy Sánchez Imbert has been appointed as one of the ambassadors of the World Law Congress Dominican Republic 2025 for her commitment to excellence and global development, making her a key ally for this historic congress.

Sánchez Imbert said she was “honored to serve as an ambassador to the World Law Congress for its commitment to fostering meaningful dialogue and promoting the country as a hub for international legal and business collaboration” and said she was “excited to contribute to this historic event that shapes the future of law and governance on a global scale”.

With over 25 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, she specializes in software technology, hospitality and strategic business development. Her career has been defined by a deep commitment to fostering strong client relationships and driving impactful growth in the industry. She has served as Director of Health and Wellness at the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism, where she played a key role in fostering wellness tourism initiatives and promoting the country as a premier destination for health-conscious travelers. Wendy draws on her experience to drive innovation, strategic partnerships and business success. Wendy is the perfect link between the World Jurist Association and the companies of the Dominican Republic to make them aware of the work of the WJA and the congress, making them participants in the strengthening of their institutionality, projecting themselves as a country with legal security and democratic stability.

Recently, Wendy has been one of the representatives of the World Jurist Association that has hosted an event with businessmen and authorities of Santiago to whom this edition of the World Law Congress has been presented. She was joined by Ángela Montoya, executive president of the congress, and Gabriel Fernández, WJA representative to the United Nations (UN).
